

DIPPING SAUCES
Teriyaki Dragon Dipping Sauce
- 3/4 cup Teriyaki sauce
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 1/4 cup brown sugar
- 1/4 cup chopped green onion
- 1/4 cup Dijon-style mustard
- 1/2 teaspoon minced garlic
Blend or whisk thoroughly. Serve in dip dish
Yield: 12 (1-ounce) servings
Garlic-Soy Dipping Sauce
- ¼ teaspoon sugar
- 4 teaspoons hot sauce
- 1 cup Amoy Soy Sauce
- 4 garlic cloves
Mince garlic, then blend well with remaining ingredients. Serve in dip dish.
Yield: 10 (1-ounce) servings
Honey-Soy Dipping Sauce
- 1/3 cup honey
- 1/3 cup sherry
- ½ cup Amoy Soy Sauce
- 2 garlic cloves
- 1 teaspoon salt, dash of pepper
Mince garlic, then blend well with remaining ingredients. Serve in dip dish.
Yield: 10 (1-ounce) servings
Soy-Mustard Dipping Sauce
- 1 cup Amoy Soy Sauce
- ½ teaspoon powdered mustard
- 1 tablespoon wine vinegar
Combine and blend all ingredients. Serve in dip dish.
Yield: 8 (1-ounce) servings
Plum Sauce
½ cup chutney
1 cup plum jelly
1 tablespoon sugar
1 teaspoon vinegar
Chop chutney fine; then combine in a saucepan with plum jelly, sugar and vinegar. Blend well and heat thoroughly, stirring. If you prefer a thinner sauce, thin with water.
Pour into a container, seal tightly, and store in a cool place. Serve in a dip dish.
Variation: For plum jelly, substitute apricot preserves. For white sugar, substitute brown sugar.
